What does the Queen of England have in common with 113,000 other people? She now has her own Facebook page! That’s right, if you haven’t already heard, the British Royal Family has just launched it’s own Facebook page – The British Monarchy – to give commoners a look into the everyday (and not so everyday) lives of Princes William and Harry, Prince Charles, and Queen Elizabeth II.
Although you can’t “friend” the Queen (or poke her for that matter!), you can find several interesting bits of information about the Royals including:
- The Royal Family’s activities and schedule
- A “Near Me” feature that allows visitors to map out related Royal events in their area
- YouTube Videos
- Ability to leave comments on posts and photos
What you won’t find on the British Monarchy Facebook page ….a corgi cam. The Royal Family has to draw the line somewhere.
