Bonjour friends,
The winter holidays may be over, but it needn’t be Christmas time to appreciate Charles Dickens. The Victorian era author may have been famous for his characters of Scrooge and Marley in A Christmas Carol; but Dickens also contributed numerous other fictional works including Oliver Twist, Great Expectations, and David Copperfield. In all, Dickens left us 15 novels in his short life of 58 years. Take a step back in time to view Dickens’ life in pictures, as well as the many British houses and locales that were used for inspiration in his writings.
Ciao!
