Love to travel and drink wine? Why not combine the two! Sure, sipping your way around Napa and Sonoma can be amazing and should be on any wine-lover’s bucket list. However, discovering the “undiscovered” wine destinations can add a whole new appreciation to wine tasting, not to mention, enhance your overall cultural experience.
While in France a few months ago, I was able to tour and taste at several Champagne houses in the Reims and Epernay regions of France. Not only did the Champagne taste as incredible as the landscape looked, but the informational cave tours and extensive tastings helped me understand the deep history and pride that wine growers (and their local patrons) have for their craft and products.
