A few months ago, I came across an awesome Website for Francophiles like me. My Little Paris delights readers with what’s new and hot in Parisian shopping, dining, and culture. The quick, magazine-like updates give you access to cool new bistros, hip brunch spots, local boutique sales, and a few surprises peppered throughout. Plus, the fun and funky drawings are more than amusing. After becoming hooked on the site (admittedly while I was planning my France vacation), I noticed a new service – My Little Box – where readers can subscribe to monthly themed boxes with hand-picked fashion, beauty and lifestyle surprises, all delivered to your door.
With themes like “My Little Parisian” box, “My Little Party” box, and “My Little Weekend” box…..I wanted to shout, Sign me up! What a perfect way to keep up my France fancy all year long. But of course, it wasn’t that simple. After searching the site, I learned that the service is only available in France and the UK (sigh….) After emailing the My Little Box team, they unfortunately were not able to accommodate even a trial box to the US (more sighing….).
Even after returning from my trip to France a couple weeks ago, I find that I’m still a little bummed that I’m not able to receive this service in the US. However, a few days ago I received an email from the team announcing their new My Little App (available via the app store), an app that delivers daily surprises (many British-themed) to your phone (happy dance!). So far, I’ve received an awesome “London Calling” iphone screen saver, selfie tips, a retro playlist, and way cool texting app (think emoticons on steroids). It may not be the same as receiving a little box of tangible goodies each month, but until My Little Box is offered in the US, I’ll take it!
